About Cetoderm

Simple, intensive moisture for dry skin.

Cetoderm is an intensive moisturiser and emollient cream. It helps to alleviate dry, itchy, eczema-prone skin, and moisturises whilst protecting it from drying out.

What’s an emollient?

An emollient is a moisturiser that softens the skin and helps it hold on to water. Rich, oily ingredients such as petrolatum and mineral oil leave a fine layer on the skin that slows down moisture loss, which is why emollients suit skin that dries out easily.

Why cetomacrogol?

Cetomacrogol is a gentle emulsifier: it lets water and oils blend into a smooth, non-greasy cream without soap or perfume. It’s the classic base for plain, fragrance-free creams for sensitive and dry skin.

Who makes it?

Cetoderm is made in South Africa by Bennetts (Bennett Brothers CC), the family-owned company behind Bennetts for Babies.
